Our Commitment to Our Community

Valerie’s House

Valerie’s House is the only organization in Southwest Florida with the sole mission of helping children grieve the loss of a loved one. The mission of Valerie’s House is to help children and families work through the loss of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives. Valerie’s House is a special place where children connect with one another and learn the tools to heal after they have experienced the death of someone they love. At Valerie’s House, children learn that loss doesn’t have to limit their dreams. Valerie’s House also supports parents and caregivers as they cope with the loss of a loved one. All of the group support programs at Valerie’s House are offered at no cost to the families attending.
The Welcome Home Team has partnered alongside Valerie’s House because their mission is something we hold close to our hearts. At age 17, Stephanie experienced the loss of her father and was unaware how to handle the grief of losing a parent. This tragedy also came as a shock to Michelle, who took on the emotional burden of supporting two children who had just suffered such a loss. After being introduced to Valerie’s house years later, we knew instantly this was the type of organization we needed to support. In 2021, Stephanie became a group night volunteer for Valerie’s House in Naples to support children going through a similar situation as her. At the Welcome Home Team, we are proud to announce that a portion of each commission will go to supporting Valerie’s House. When you work with us, you are helping Valerie’s House provide grief support to a child and their family.

The Keller Williams Community

Red Day

Since May of 2009 our entire company – from the U.S. and Canada to our family abroad – sets aside the second Thursday of the month to Renew, Energize, and Donate within the communities we serve.

We’ve poured into our community in a number of ways. Locally in Southwest Florida, we have built Habitat for Humanity homes, remodelled veteran’s homes, painted The David Lawrence Center, volunteered at Harry Chapin Food Bank, and cleaned up at a local Equine Therapy Farm.

After Hurricane Irma we organized relief efforts for local residents affected by the storm, gathered supplies and water for those in need, helped with clean up Bonita Springs to Goodland Island, and even spread joy and raised funds as only Keller Williams can when life takes an unexpected turn. These are just a few of the community activities we’ve carried out in support of those who have poured into us.

KWCares

KW Cares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to serving Keller Williams Realty associates and their qualifying family members experiencing hardship as a result of a sudden emergency.

We step in swiftly to provide financial grants and aid when these unforeseen emergencies create difficult circumstances that our KW associates and their immediate families cannot overcome on their own.

This is the very heartbeat of Keller Williams culture in action: striving to find and serve the higher purpose of business through philanthropic giving in a way that embodies values rooted in giving, caring and sharing.
